Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Kochi

Arrive at Kochi, the bustling port city with a rich colonial heritage. After checking in to your hotel, you can explore the city’s famous attractions like the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Dutch Palace. The evening is free for leisure or to explore Kochi’s vibrant markets and eateries.

Day 2: Kochi to Munnar

After breakfast, drive from Kochi to Munnar, a beautiful hill station famous for its tea plantations, spice gardens, and breathtaking landscapes. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can take a short walk through the tea gardens or visit the Tea Museum.

Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Munnar. Visit the famous Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Enjoy a visit to the Spice Plantations where you can see cardamom, pepper, and other spices growing in their natural habitat.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast, travel to Thekkady, home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and later enjoy a boat ride in the sanctuary. This ride offers a chance to spot elephants, tigers, and various other wildlife species. In the evening, you can visit the spice plantations for a tour and tasting.

Day 5: Thekkady to Kumarakom (Houseboat Stay)

In the morning, travel to Kumarakom, where you will board a luxurious houseboat for an unforgettable experience on the backwaters. Enjoy the serene views of the lake, coconut groves, and lush landscapes as you cruise through the backwaters. The houseboat is equipped with modern amenities, and you'll be served traditional Kerala cuisine during your stay.

Day 6: Houseboat in Kumarakom to Kochi

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive back to Kochi. Depending on your departure time, you can visit some of Kochi’s other attractions or enjoy some last-minute shopping before being dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
